Advertising for Construction Firms and Roofing Services
The enquiries come in. Only a handful reach a quote.
The goal is not more enquiries. The goal is for the salesperson to start the day with people who know the price range and have already said what kind of site it is. The mechanism that does this is called “screening before the click”.
Request a quoteWhat an unfiltered enquiry costs
The advertising budget is not the most expensive cost in this niche.
01
The salesperson’s hour
A conversation that begins with “how much is a square metre” ends with no job and no budget. One such conversation a day is an hour a week wasted before the work on the real quotes has even begun.
02
The season runs without you
A campaign launched in the wrong month collects data just when demand is most expensive. Catching up costs more than getting ahead.
03
The form collects the merely curious
A request filled in with two fields and no visit to the website looks cheap in the account. Its price is paid in the salesperson’s calendar.
The mechanism
Screening before the click
The filter moves from the salesperson’s phone into the ad itself. The person reaches the form after they already know what determines the price and what the timescale is.
- The price range is stated in advanceNot a final quote, but the range the numbers move within and what changes them. People outside that range drop out on their own, before they have taken up the salesperson’s time.
- Angles are tested in a systemVariations run in a structure that shows which angle brings enquiries. A high CTR with no enquiries is stopped, not rewarded.
- Tracking through to the signed contractServer-side tracking and offline conversions feed the real outcome back into the ad account. The algorithm learns from deals, not from forms.
- Reporting by cost per dealCost per enquiry, share of qualified enquiries, cost per contract. Three numbers that tell you whether the advertising works.
Proof
Carport — car canopies
A manufacturer of patented steel canopies. The same profile as the construction service: high price, long cycle, quote after a site visit.
Meta, October 2025 – June 2026, advertising budget €3,398. A product priced from €2,244 to €11,044, a long-cycle decision, seasonal demand.
The first step
Audit within 7 working days
Before any budget is added, you can see where the current one leaks. Account, website, enquiry form, tracking.
- You receive a PDF and an online meetingThe findings and recommendations presented in person, not an automatic report from a tool.
- Conclusions in days, not monthsThe findings are ready within the audit period, not after a quarter.
- The value is deducted in fullIf the work continues, the full value of the audit is deducted from the contract price, with a minimum term of three months. This applies if the contract is signed within 30 days of the audit.
- All I ask of you is read accessThe ad accounts and the website remain yours. Nothing changes without your decision.
Which channel for what
| Meta | It shows the site to people who are not yet searching. It brings the volume and provides the place where the screening happens. |
|---|---|
| It catches the moment of readiness. It goes in against measured demand for the specific region, checked in Keyword Planner before launch. | |
| Remarketing | Weeks pass between first contact and signature. Presence through them decides whose quote is remembered. |
When I am not the right choice
- If the goal is the lowest cost per lead. Screening raises the cost per enquiry and lowers the cost per deal.
- If the sales department replies after a day. Advertising does not fix a slow reply, it only makes it more expensive.
- If margin and customer value are left out of the conversation. Without them, optimisation follows clicks.
I work personally on every account. This limits the number of clients I take on at the same time, and it is the reason this list exists.
